✔ What does SEO mean?
English acronym meaning Search Engine Optimization which translated into Italian literally means Optimization for Search Engines.
✔ What does SEO Optimization mean?
The term SEO Optimization refers to the activities or techniques aimed at presenting your site’s content to Google with the help of meta tags, in order to be shown by Google in the top positions of search results when related, consistent and relevant to search terms used by the user related to your business or to your products or services
In other words, it is the set of all actions aimed at making Google aware of the topics covered on your site through sending the sitemap.xml, which contains all the different meta tags used to describe and uniquely identify the content of each site.

✔ What does On-Site SEO or Off-Site SEO mean?
With On-Site SEO we mean those activities carried out directly on your site. The Flazio platform has an integrated control panel where you can customize the meta data that help Google more easily understand the contents and topics of both your site and each single page that makes up your site, or your e-commerce products or your blog posts.
With Off-Site SEO we mean those activities carried out outside the site, which have nothing to do with the contents or the structure, but are aimed at increasing authority and increasing quality traffic to your site, such as Link Building strategies.
✔ What does SERP mean?
English acronym meaning Search Engine Result Page, translated into Italian Search Results Page.
Google is made up of two pages. The first is the one where only the search bar is present, in which you type what you want to find; the second is the SERP, the page shown a moment later where suggested sites are displayed, according to relevance and consistency principles. Appearing in the top positions of this page must be your final goal and you can achieve it by following SEO principles.
On this page, besides organic search results, paid results marked with the word ‘Ad’ are shown, but also Google My Business, Video info and Reviews.
✔ What is meant by Crawler and Crawling?
I Crawler, also called Spider or Bot, are software sent by search engines to scan the World Wide Web in a methodical, continuous and automated way to gather information on the contents of websites so they can index them and show them in the SERP when deemed consistent and relevant with the words used by the user who is searching.
The Crawling instead is the methodical and systematic analysis activity carried out by crawlers.
✔ What is meant by Metadata?
Also called Meta Tag or more simply Tag, they are to be considered as labels containing additional information about the content or topics of the elements that make up your site.
They are essential because they are inserted in the code of HTML pages and for this very reason they are easily read by crawlers (spiders or bots) that Search Engines, including Google, send to scan the web to gather information in order to index websites.
The Flazio platform lets you add metadata without having to know the programming language. From the integrated SEO panel it is very easy to customize the tags, each with a specific function.
✔ What does Meta Title and Meta Descriptionmean?
Inside the Flazio editor, SEO Panel, section General SEO you can customize what will be shown by Google in the SERP by writing the Title (Meta Title) and the Description (Meta Description) that will be read by users.
They are extremely important, since they are tasked with communicating in a concise and persuasive way to users what the page is about, encouraging them to click to visit the site.
Both appear when Google decides that the site is relevant and consistent with the search performed by the user.
✔ What does Heading Tag or H Tag mean?
The Heading Tag or H Tag is a type of metadata used to optimize texts; specifically, its function is to indicate to Google the priority, importance, and topic of the page.
Within the Flazio editor, SEO Panel, by choosing the page you prefer and then the Text Optimization tab, you can provide Google with up to 4 types of H Tags for texts:
• H1 tag: it is the tag given the greatest relevance because it serves to indicate the main topic of the page; consider it as if it were the title and in fact it often matches the title the user sees. Google requires that each page has only one H1 Tag containing the main keywords.
• H2 tag: it is the tag used to expand the title, to explain in more detail the topic the page covers, like a subtitle. There is no minimum or maximum number; we suggest 3-5 H2 Tags containing similar search terms, synonyms to the words used in the title, not identical, because that would be penalizing.
• H3 tag: it is the tag inserted in the in-depth content; consider it as the text of the paragraph.
• H4 tag: it is the tag that identifies the least relevant content of the page, which looks at a detail such as a bulleted text, a list.
To sum up, it is essential that in the SEO panel you set a page title (H1 Tag), several subtitles (H2 Tag) and, if the text allows it, also marginal H Tags such as H3 and H4, but be careful not to index marginal topics or words, bringing traffic not interested in your main business; it is penalizing and not very effective.

✔ What does Alt-Tag mean?
As with texts, images are also strategic information to communicate: they play a key role in indexing the images on the site because search engines recognize the photographic component, but do not understand its meaning, so it is best to provide the Alt-Tag for every single image on your site.
It is essential that the images uploaded to the site are SEO-synergic, that they include in the caption keywords or search terms related to your business, which can be used by users to find them in the Google Images section, bringing the user one click away from your site.
You can do this from the SEO Panel, choosing the page you prefer and then the Image Optimization tab
✔ What are Sharing Information?
It’s the part of the SEO panel that lets you customize the sharing preview of your pages.
For each single page that makes up your site you can choose what preview info to show when any url of your site is shared on Social or on Chats like WhatsApp or Telegram.
